DRIVING DIRECTIONS to Commodore Events in Alameda

From San Francisco: Take the Bay Bridge and exit to the right following the signs for 880/Alameda/ San Jose. Go 2.5 miles and take the Broadway/Alameda exit. Turn right onto Fifth Street. Go through six lights and from the left two lanes, cross Broadway and follow the Alameda signs into the Webster Street tube to Alameda. After exiting the Webster Street tube, take the first right onto Wilver “Willie” Stargell Avenue. Take your first right onto Mariner Square Loop and go past Target. At the stop light, turn right onto Mitchell Avenue. At the stop sign, make a left onto Mariner Square Drive.

From Fremont & San Jose: Take 880 North. Exit Broadway in Oakland. Turn right onto Broadway. Go two blocks and turn right onto Seventh Street. Go two blocks and turn right onto Webster Street. Follow the signs to Alameda. After exiting the Webster Street tube, take the first right onto Wilver “Willie” Stargell Avenue, take your first right onto Mariner Square Loop and go past Target. At the stop light, turn right onto Mitchell Avenue. At the stop sign, make a left onto Mariner Square Drive.

From Berkeley & Vallejo areas: From I-80, as you approach the Bay Bridge, follow the center lanes and the signs to Alameda/San Jose. Go three miles and take the Broadway/Alameda exit. Turn right onto Fifth Street. Go through six lights and from the left two lanes, cross Broadway and follow the Alameda signs into the Webster Street tube. From Walnut Creek area: Take 24 to west I-980. Exit 11th/12th Street. This becomes Brush Street. Turn left onto Seventh Street. At the sixth stop light, turn right onto Webster Street. Continue on Webster Street and follow the signs to Alameda. After exiting the Webster Street tube, take the first right onto Wilver “Willie” Stargell Avenue. Take the first right onto Mariner Square Loop and go past Target. At the stop light, turn right onto Mitchell Avenue. At the stop sign, make a left onto Mariner Square Drive.

To the Yacht: Keep straight on Mariner Square Drive towards the Yachts.

To the Office: Offices will be on the right side, approximately 50 yards before the Yachts and water line. Look for large sign on the green gate for entry.

PARKING: The foot of Mariner Square has limited parking that is reserved for the two restaurants there. You may park on both sides of Mariner Square Drive and there is reserved yacht guest parking in the spaces in front of and behind the Mariner Square Office complex at the head of Mariner Square Drive. It’s a short walk to the yachts at the foot of Mariner Square Drive. Of course, you may drop your passengers at the foot of the drive, particularly those with disabilities, and come back to park.

Tour Motor Coaches: You may offload your passengers at the foot of Mariner Square Drive. Afterwards, you may drive back to the stop sign, turn left, and discover ample parking, while you wait, in the Marina Village Shopping Center.

GOING HOME: Proceed up Mariner Square Drive. to the stop sign. Go straight, one long block and turn right onto the street that carries you into the Posey tube. Be in the right hand lane, exiting, and follow signs toward San Francisco to I-80 East or West or 24 toward Walnut Creek. For I-880 South, follow the sign to San Jose.

LEAVE EARLY: Allow for unexpected Bay Area traffic conditions.

DIRECTIONS TO PIER 40, SOUTH BEACH HARBOR, S.F.

(One-half mile south of the Ferry Building next to AT&T Park • NOT next to Pier 39)

FROM THE NORTH BAY
Hwy 101 over Golden Gate Bridge;
Follow signs to Lombard Street;
Follow Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue, turn left;
Turn right onto Bay Street and go to the end;
Turn right on the Embarcadero;
Go 1 3/4 miles to Pier 40. *

FROM THE SOUTH BAY via Hwy 101
Hwy 101 North;
Take 4th Street exit (last SF exit);
To Bryant Street and go straight through to the water;
Turn right on the Embarcadero;
Go to Pier 40. *

FROM THE EAST BAY
Hwy 80 across the Bay Bridge;
Take the Fifth Street exit;
Turn left on Fifth Street;
Left on Townsend Street;
Right on Second Street;
Left on the Embarcadero to Pier 40. *

FROM THE SOUTH BAY via Hwy 280
Hwy 280 North;
Follow to the end;
Take the 4th Street exit and continue straight onto King Street;
Follow King Street to the Embarcadero;
Go to Pier 40. *

* You will see the Pier 40 sign written on the pier itself, and the Java House just north of the pier. There is an open-air parking lot between Brannan & Bryant before you reach the Pier 40 entrance, as well as metered parking along Embarcadero.
